In a special A State of Trance Radio show recorded at The Loft in Amsterdam in a venue nearly exactly where Armin van Buuren started the popular radio show 25 years ago. Armin played a special set celebrating trance in a set filled with classics that has shaped trance over the years. As Armin mentioned in his speech at the beginning of the show “Your feedback is what shaped this radio show and a state of trance is not just my radio show, it’s a show for the fans and in many ways by the fans”.
When the music started the energy was impeccable as the crowd in Amsterdam witnessed tracks from Motorcycle- ‘As the Rush Comes’ (W&W mix), ‘U’ mixed with ‘Concrete Angel’, Cafe Del Mar (Remix ID), Ramsterdam. Along with recent fan favorite hits played from ‘U got to know’, Always You’, ‘Your Love is a Drug’ and many more. Armin also gave a special mention to the DJ’s and Producucers who have helped shaped the radio show over the years.
As A state of Trance continues it’s 25 years anniversary they are celebrating with A State of Trance festival in Hong Kong June 12th at the Asia World Expo Hall.Where Armin will be joined by the likes of Bylly Gillies, Laura Van Dam, Ruben De Ronde and a surprise F2F.
They will also take the festival to Vietnam in Ho Chi Minh City to continue the celebrations June 13th with the likes of Ferry Corsten (Gouryella), Cosmic Gate, Nifra, Ruben De Ronde and another special surprise that will join Armin F2F.
